"Old skaters don't die they open up a skate shop "
and that is exactly what Woody has done, along with his partner
Andrea. Woody has skated since'77 and felt it was time to move
on from his REAL job as a joiner and play at shopkeeper, and
what better way to do it than fulfil his dream of owning his
own skate shop. So our doors opened to enthusiastic local skaters
in June. We are a small independently skater owned and run shop,
and we aim to stock as wide a range of products as possible.
We are a little off the beaten track, but we hope you will agree
that we are worth that extra mile.
You will receive a friendly welcome
and if you need advise we will do our best to help you make
the right choice within your budget. "Big Woodys"
is a true skateboard shop not a glossy high street fashion store,
we only stock skateboarding products. If you can't find us,
we are situated in Brimelows Garage Buildings on the main road
into Poulton-le-Fylde, just outside Blackpool, failing that
we are only a phone call away.
